The sudden “throttle down” action is a forecasting of Emergency Brake. When RCAS detects the driver “throttle down” too fast, it immediately triggers the brake lights to warn behind car before stepping on brake. This action is early 0.3-0.5 seconds than normal braking lighted. It makes behind car reducing rush 5-17 meters ahead if the car speed is 60-120KM/H. That is, the possibility of rear-end collision is reduced much, or the loss is reduced much even if collision happens.

Fast “throttle down” action without stepping on brake will make 2-3 seconds continuous braking lights to warn behind car. This function is particularly useful in rain and snow weather. As the car speed is high, we can’t directly brake because of slippery road. Generally, for normal car, we first throttle down to reduce the speed. But at this time, the behind car does not know quickly you are decelerating, it keeps high speed for a time until observing your braking lights and already approach too close, the time is too short to avoid an accident! This is the major reason that accidents happen frequently in rain and snow weather. Install a RCAS product, trigger your braking lights in advance, and prevent collision effectively!
